Medical English / GE-15 Combination BE-20B (20 hrs p/week) (8.00 – 11.00); Maximum 18 students per class.
Hours per week including breaks: 20, made up of 15 hours in GE-15 group classes in the morning and 5 hours in one-to-one or small-group sessions after lunch. Required language level: upper intermediate or above Minimum Enrolment Period: 1 week BE-20B is primarily designed for groups of medical professionals – or individuals - who are organised in advance by international hospitals, professional medical associations or educational counsellors. Students are doctors or medical students who wish to improve their command of medical terminology as used in the English-speaking medical community. The syllabus is negotiated with the students to allow the course to be tailored to meet an individual student's needs. The course focuses on developing students' presentation skills, as well as reading medical texts and writing reports. This course is a popular option for students seeking English instruction to support their future career objectives.

Please Note: Prices Tuition prices do not include registration fee, accommodation rent, bank charges, airport service, books. The School reserves the right to introduce a limited number of special offers on some courses at any time. These offers are limited and acceptance at these rates cannot be guaranteed. Registration fees There is a £65 registration fee per student: £30 for tuition and £35 for accommodation. If no accommodation is booked, the total registration fee is only £30. There will be a £20 weekly charge for any special dietary requirements. Books There is a £20 book fee per student, per term. Books can be bought from the school office before starting a course or rented from the library. Completion of payment arrangements Fees must be paid four weeks or more prior to student's arrival at school in order to ensure place in class and accommodation. Changes After receipt of payment any change to accommodation and/or course arrangement is subject to £25 administrative charge. Transfer Service The price is from airport/station each way. Waiting charges may be incurred if there is a substantial delay. Exam preparation classes Cambridge examination courses start in January, March and September and the exams take place in March, June and December. All students will be asked to pay a deposit on arrival which will be returned to you on your day of departure. The deposit will cover any damages done to the hostel and lost keys.
